Plain-English Privacy Baseline
We collect the information needed to operate ListHall, make public recommendations visible, keep the app clean, and respond to reports. We keep the product intentionally light so users do not turn it into a heavy media storage service.
What ListHall Is
ListHall is a place to create, browse, save, and discuss recommendation lists. Public lists, public profiles, comments, likes, follows, and outbound links may be visible to other people using the service.
Information We Collect
We may collect account details such as username, email, password authentication data, profile settings, lists, list items, comments, likes, saves, follows, reports, moderation records, outbound click records, device and log data, and optional image metadata when image uploads are enabled.
How We Use Information
We use information to run the product, keep accounts secure, publish and organize lists, provide search and discovery, enforce the Terms of Use, review reports, prevent adult or abusive content, measure product performance, and support affiliate or outbound link attribution.
What Is Public
Published public lists, public profile information, item notes, comments, and some activity signals can be seen by others. Do not post private information, confidential material, or content you do not want others to view.
Sharing
We may share information with service providers that help operate ListHall, when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to respond to copyright or abuse reports, as part of a business transfer, or with your direction. This MVP does not include selling personal information.
Storage Limits
ListHall is designed for lightweight recommendations, not heavy media hosting. The current image policy allows JPG, PNG, and WebP images up to 3 MB and 2400 x 2400 pixels. GIFs, videos, and direct large media file links are not accepted.
Your Choices
You can manage account, privacy, and notification settings in the app. Future account tools should include profile export, deletion, and more granular data controls before public launch.
Children
ListHall is not directed to children under 13. If a production version knowingly collects personal information from children under 13, it needs a COPPA-specific privacy workflow and parental consent process.
